This is a short list of our most frequently asked questions. We have tried to cover most common queries people have before purchasing our designer templates. Why should I buy a designer template?

We want you to stand out of the crowd when employer’s go through job applications. A designer resume will help you get noticed in front of employer’s eyes. A modern and professional design will get your experience, skills noticed in front of employers. Our designer templates are very versatile and can be used by people in all professions. Our templates are perfect for recent university graduates, interns, people in creative fields, chief executives and all talented job seekers.

Is it easy to edit the templates?

If you can create or edit Microsoft word documents then you can edit our templates. All you have to do is replace the existing dummy content with your own details.

Can I reduce or increase the number of pages of the designer templates?

Absolutely! We have included 2 pages in most of our templates by default but if you want to increase the number of pages then you can copy and paste the designer objects into a newly inserted page and if you would like to decrease it to one page then simply delete the designer objects from the second page. 

Can I change the layout of the designer templates?

All the text, icons, designer bars can be simply moved from one area to another. In short you can drag and drop any elements of the template without needing any pro skills.

Is it possible to change the colours of the templates?

By default we have already included 3 most popular colour themes in all our templates so that you don’t have to spend time editing the designs. You can change the colours if you want but it may require some pro skills to edit.

Will I be able to delete the sections I do not want?

Absolutely! You can delete any objects of the template simply by hitting the delete button.

Can I change and use my own fonts in the templates?

Why not? We have used Arial and Calibri font in all our design templates but you can simply change it to font of your choice. 

Does ResumesHQ offer resume writing services?

At the moment we do not offer resume writing services and completely focus on producing quality designs.

What files are included in the template pack?

You will be receiving a designer Cover Letter template and a designer Resume template in various colours as specified in the template description. All files comes in A4 and US letter sizing and in .doc (Word 97 – 2003 Compatible) and .docx (Word 2007 – 2013 Compatible) format.

How will I be receiving the template?

Once you have purchased and checked out from our website, you will be receiving an e-mail with the download link. You can click the link and download the purchased template. You will be receiving a .Zip file of the template. You can unzip the files using Winzip (www.winzip.com) or Jzip (www.jzip.com).
